Ideor Asso Professional

I am looking for some pictures of an Ideor Asso Professional.

Please post your photos of your Ideor Asso here.

Thanks in advance.

In case you have not as yet encountered it the forum has a fairly extensive Ideor Asso thread located here:

A check with the forum's search function will turn up a number of other Ideor Asso threads as well.

Here are some pics of my Ideor Asso. Appears to be the Olympic model, circa 1961.

I always thought these were pretty decent Bikes. But for some reason they don't get a lot of respect in the C&V World.

Do you know anyone who owns a Professional model? I would like to see some pictures of the Fork decals.

Sure have, sadly, there aren't any Ideor Asso Professional bikes in there.

Collector Nelson Miller of Seattle has a red chrom-o-lux example Professional, all original.

He may have some photos posted somewhere such as a flickr type account. No hard information.

I know Velo-Retro, Chuck is a friend and fellow lister of Classic Rendezvous. I did a few VR water decals for him as a gift.
He has the Ideor Catalog but you can also find it by searching Flickr.

I have the catalog, it only talks about the specs, what I really need is close up photos photos of the Ideor Asso "Professional" fork decals. I have reproduced the set but I am missing the fork decals.

In fact, I have full sets on Ideor Asso Special, Ideor Asso Olympic, Ideor Super.

So anyone who can find me the "professional Model with fork decals would be incredible and certainly GREATLY appreciated.

Cheers.

Lovely bike. interesting seat tube decals, seems they have used different decal vendors because when I look at some of the other models, the Seat tube decal lion is a bit different, not much, but it's definitely not the same artwork, which is quite normal because over the years bike companies ordered decals from several decal makers.

I would love to own one.

Best,

Gus

Gus,

Do you know if another company acquired the rights to the name subsequent the closure of 1963?

Have seen two bicycles in classified adverts which were clearly a good deal later yet were transferred as Ideor. Both were so modest I cannot imagine someone bothering with a counterfeit.

Here is one currently on offer:
