I found this old thread on this board but not much else throughout the webz. https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...2cm-frame.html

There's a decent looking one for sale locally. Wondering if I should consider it with the others I'm looking at. TIA.

I just bought a Panasonic Touring Deluxe with the same tubing but Shimano components and paid $275 shipped. I got a great deal, I believe, and you're in a hot market so I'd consider that bike a decent price. It looks like it has a Sugino AT crank and they're nice.

Edit: my Panasonic is Tange 1000, not 900.

I have a Focus MB-400 that is set up as my daily commuter. All the components were early 1980s Japanese, and the frame has a "Made in Japan" sticker. The workmanship on the frame is quite good and it rides very nicely. As you have noticed, there is really not much information out there on these bikes.
