I need help regarding identification of my bike
Hello.
I've been trying to identify this bicycle for some time now, without any major success.
So I signed in on this forum so that one of You might know something about this frame.
When I bought the bike, I didn't really care what brand was it. The previous owner told me that he wasn't sure about it, but it might have been a Peugeot (by the time he got it the bike was through 2 - 3 owners already).
Paint is not original (obviously) - originally it was either white or dark blue (supposadly).
Any information would be useful.
Regards, gregor89

It looks more Japanese than French to me. What's the bottom bracket and steer tube thread?

It had some problems with the bottom bracket, it came with more of a Thompson-ish-styled solid axle and some ball bearings, it then was changed to this more enclosed design of bottom bracket (just for convienience, and easier maintenance)... And 3 axles later it finally works. It was done in my local bike shop, so I don't really know which one it is...

Early 70's Japanese made entry level frame. Maybe Takara, Azuki, Nishiki?

Stamped dropouts-despite the nice-looking lugwork, this is a low-end bike.
