Can anyone tell me about this bicycle
Im trying to help a friend that has this bike and would like to know what year is and if it has any value? chec k the attachment.

The block or skip-tooth chain would place it as early '50s or older, and balloon tire bikes from that era have a following, but unless this one is special or in beautiful condition it is probably not worth more than about $100 max.

Fully restored with original components it might get quite a bit more than $100, depending on location.

Way out of range-a skip-tooth is likely immediately pre-war (somebody added reflectors later), and if working, is worth easily 3x that. Restored? A lot more. Those front-spring models were generally higher-end bikes. A bike like this should EASILY sell on EBay for $300+. The market for these is really strong in large cities, so don't try selling it elsewhere.
