What are these bikes? (Austro Daimler, Puch, Motobecane)

Hi: Am trying to discern just what models the bikes in the below pictures are. Is the Motobecane a Grand Touring or Grand Record? Austro seems to be a Pathfinder. My regards.

need better pix of all, but I don't think the Moto is either "Grand" model (and MIGHT have front-end collision bending, check for that), and both it and the A-D seem to have that swaged-with chain-guard style crank that came on middling range bikes...not a favorite crank for me.

Handlebar Stem Mounted Shifters on the Motobecane; all of the Grand Tourings I see have downtube mounted shifters per the catalog link below.

And what does the sticker say at the top of the seat tube for the Motobecane? The tubing? What is it?

Catalogs to chase down what kind of Motobecane it might be, I'd think in the window of '75-'78.

bulgier.net - /pics/bike/Catalogs/Motobecane/

According to this below, so this would be relying on their judgement.
1981 MOTOBECANE 53cm ?Super Mirage? Road Bike | GALAXY BIKES (stem-mounted shifters in this case, the catalog might not say that though for a date as late as '81 but we know it's somewhere around then.)

I think it does look largely like this bike.

Just checking on the details can be confusing, sorry if I do that. This is a Super Mirage apparently.

Do the handlebars on the Motobecane have the "Hutchinson Rubber" covering?

So, the '81 catalogue, does show a Mirage came out in gold but not the Super Mirage: https://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Catalog...4_specs_p2.jpg (see specs, Mirage)

One has to dig through the catalogs.

At least, we have some clues here but we do not know for certain.

They are all nice bikes, I think as a rule, all Austro-Daimlers are fine bikes. I think Austro Daimler made Puchs.

Surely, we have a dedicated thread for Austro Daimlers and Puches and one could go through the thread and compare the bikes.

Super Mirage is clearly readable on that bike; so there you go, could be that. The catalogs always don't tell everything as well.

The Moto could be either a Super Mirage or a Grand Touring. Up until 1980, you could tell them apart by stem shifters versus down tube shifters but the Grand Touring went to stem shifters in 1980 and they were virtually identical that year, with the biggest difference being the tubing. So, the info on the tubing decal is critical. The rear dropouts appear to be the Huret model with the integral cable stop. These came out in 1978, so it should be no older than that.

Just want to give my best thanks to you guys for giving over your time in helping me identify these. Seems like the Moto is a Super Mirage. I will post better photos when I go to see the bikes in a few days. The bottom bike, ostensibly a Puch, remains a consummate mystery to me.
