Ebay 6532944986 is worth a look. Very nicely done and worthy even of the hyperbole the seller is spewing.

No bids as of yet though and the starting price doesn't seem out of line. Hence my questions:

Does the Reserve status scare people off?

Does the fact that it is a restoration, albeit a thorough and "correct" one, scare away the hard core?

Do early Carltons, despite unquestioned quality, just not have the mojo that some Italian and French steel does?

Of course a furious sniping war might happen in the last 2 minutes and make these questions pointless.
