Macario finished
I finished my early sixties Macario (dated by Macario). It was earlier than the components that I got it with. The original plan was to build it up with 10 speed Campy but plans change. Its a bit of a mash up of parts mainly from the early to mid 80's.
As bought. This picture doesnt really show the globbed on brush painted mess the paint actually was. http://i1074.photobucket.com/albums/...sm9nepqxf.jpeg this sort of shows it http://i1074.photobucket.com/albums/...sas29j7bg.jpeg Stripping some of that paint off showed what I had. http://i1074.photobucket.com/albums/...pszm2xib1s.jpg I had the first ride last night, still needs a little tweaking, the saddle is a little high as pictured here but other than that rides beautifully http://i1074.photobucket.com/albums/...pssgcsrurl.jpg Thanks to Drillium Dude for the heads up on those Campy pedals it came with, they paid for the whole build and a nice meal out with my wife. |

That's an amazing transformation:thumb: Very well done. You should post this in the before & thread as well.

That's what I call bringing a bike back to life. Congratulations on a really nice restoration. I love the colour!
