What are your favorite clipless pedals for your ride ??

Any Look Delta variant, to include the licensed Shimano and Campagnolo versions.

Keep it real.

Word on the street is that Shimano Dura-Ace PD-7401 are best if you want something classic but clipless. Uses look delta cleats.

I use the Shimano M520 and PD A520. Both are inexpensive.
I also had a pair of Wellgo spd's that lasted a long time. I sold them along with a bike and don't recall the model.

I'm not sentimental when it comes to pedals. I have some '89 vintage Time Carbons but they blow, I never use them.

The top of the line VX Race SPD mountain pedals got slashed to $16.99 at Bikewagon so I bought three pairs and they're outstanding.

SH71 cleats with the pontoon work great with flat soled road shoes. Easy to clip in without sliding your shoe all over the place and good to walk in.

I'll keep my eyes on these to see if they go down in price.

After moving from SPDs (which I liked) to Eggbeaters on my MTBs I am slowly moving all my bikes to Eggbeaters and have enjoyed the ease of use and walking again w/o any of the problems I hear the SPD-SLs, Speedplays, etc. are supposed to cure. Obviously I am no slave to fashion.

Look Keo - I rode Look Deltas (396 and 296) for a few years but the squeaks drove me and my riding buddies crazy. None of that with the Keo.

Crank bros. Candy for my cross and commute bikes. Has a decent platform for regular shoe riding in a pinch.

sdn40, Two of my favorite SPD clipless pedals are from Ritchey. For the road I like the WCS, but a really stiff sole is, if not required, strongly suggested. For using a less rigid shoe, I like the Shimano A520 design. For off road I like the Ritchey Pro Paradigm, which is not terribly different from Shimano's offerings.

I have one pair of the original look, and all the others are a variant of those. With the 2 pair of dura ace being my favorite.

Their website is weird. In the link below those same pedals are $16.99. They do have a different SKU number. I hurried and bought three sets because it appears they made a mistake. I don't know. And the weight they have listed is incorrect, they weigh 370g. Shows two pairs left.

I like Shimano R540's, mostly because they're inexpensive. For €30 you get pedals & cleats, in white, black or silver.

I invested in the Look system for the road but I don't have any issue with any of the other major systems, such as Time or SPD-R. Of course, I avoid the lesser, quirkier systems and specifically the Campagnolo SGR pedals, which are arguably the ugliest clipless road pedals of all time.

Shimano XT 8000 or the 8020s.

For a few more $$$$ the XTRs are nice as well. 9000 or 9020s.

Whichever I find on sale first when I need pedals.

Plus they stock all the parts at the shop including inserts, cleats and insoles for my Sidis.

I'll be selling my Shimano Ultegra and DA spd-sLs. When I was riding road only, they made sense.

I like the convenience of the spds and the XT and XTRs work well on the road for me.

Mountain, gravel and road all in one.

One set of Sidi Dragons for home and one set of Dominators that I leave at the cabin.

Makes me a happy guy.

It really depends on the application. On a rando bike or one I might hop on to go to the store, I prefer Shimano A530's and their clip/platform feature. On my racier bikes, a lighter SPD variant.

I Used Time Atac, for a while, but then I stopped Bothering and went back to Platform pedals..

(since this is all about Road Bikes) My Pedals are C&V on it (RB1), Mavic 640, with toe clips & straps..

I'm not at all sentimental about pedals, or anything else really. I've got a pair of Shimano m324 dual sided spd's on the bike I ride most around town, a pair of a520's on another bike (I like being able to stop and walk around on MTB shoes), and a pair of Look Keo Max's on the carbon road bike (strictly for vanity's sake).

Well, I invested in the Look Keo system years ago and with over a dozen pairs on the various bikes right now I can't see it as affordable to consider anything else.

Actually I'm comfortable with regular cage/track pedals, but I've gotten used to the shimano clip/strap pedals on my Tempo.

I like time atac a lot and use them on C&V builds for bikes I ride long distance. Otherwise bmx style pedals or toe clips and straps are just fine.
