Anyone know what a KHS, made in tiawan, is? They are pretty ratty, been left outdoors in the rain and sun, all suntour componets, center pull brakes, lugged frames, touring bikes! Are they worth fixing? Thanks

generally KHS is a lower-end Japanese brand, although the KHS Turbo was a nice rider from the 80's. If it's been in the rain for a while it is probably not worth restoring, but the parts on the bike are salvageable (unless it was like, in a swamp or something).

Not quite. KHS today is a full range Taiwanese bike maker which makes everything from cheapies to high end. So, depending on the bike, it could be worth saving or not (being old enough to have Suntour plus being left out to rust suggests the latter).
