Happy New Year C&V!

Seeing as some of our overseas counterparts are probably already well under way in celebrations, time to wish everyone here a Happy New Year!

Reflecting on my own year; from a cycling perspective still met all the original goals despite some setbacks. Met many of you this year, and those were some of the highlights of the year gone by. On the personal side, let's just say that it's more clear than ever that our time with friends and family is very precious.

Planning to start the year off right by hosting a 2 hour ride on New Year's Day (though it's indoor, the seasonal compromise).

Peace, health, and all the best to you in your New Year!

Another Happy New years wish to everyone here in C&V Land. Personally, I am ready for 2016 to be done with, and pray for a better 2017. Some rough family things that made for a sad year here. Bicycle wise, things were my brightest spot of the year.

Stay safe, use a designated driver please, and be here next year.

Bill

I'm sure 2017 will find me marveling at Chrome Molly's ability to move a bike, same as 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013......

2016 had me marveling at his ability to build a retro-roadie, and envious of his Best Beer Run Ever.

Here's hope for more in store for all.

Happy New Year!

Since I keep everything I find, and have a nice collection I am fine tuning, I resolve to ride more miles than what I spend. Sounds reasonable as of the first day of the year.

Special thank you to Rootboy and of course, Happy New Year to all.

He tied up a nice big box of flies for our trip to the Dominican Republic.

Super successful.

Many fantastic fishing memories, but catching a "smaller" 17 pound Tarpon yesterday will go down as an all time thrill.

I can't recall if he also tied up the smaller crab imitations, but they were quite effective with dozens of Horse eye Jack. Some were quite large.

Tough to toss flies in the wind at times, but Rootboy's flies are superb.

Thanks again!

We had our usual 2 hr New Years kickoff ride this morning at the Woodbury Y. Feels good to get out of the gate with a good workout in!

With today's weather and knowing we are heading for the deep freeze, might go outside too.

Thanks, and I hope to be moving the metal as fast as you when I get that far down the road.

The triple crank at the DD helped immensely.

Speaking of retro roadies, I spent the last hour cleaning up this guy ready for some touch up. Sort of a blank canvas at this point as far as a build options go, but thinking Japanese and not for climbs this time around. Have lots of Ultegra just sitting around here staring back at me, still not sure though.

Yeah, I know I still have to finish the tile on the fireplace (I already have the Mrs to tell me that)
