seeking info about this Vintage Univega Grandtech

Dear Vintage bike gurus,
I saw this bike on CL and then researched an old post on BF where T-Mar described some interesting facts on a Univega Grandtech 6400 that the OP had bought for $80 back in 2012. This bike, however, has an different paint job, forks look different, and so does the area where the seat stays connect with ST. What is your take on this bike. Owner is asking $245 in CL San Diego/Oceanside.

Looks like a Dura Ace aero stem.

If the components are original, it would probably be a late 80`s , early 90`s bike. Looks to be in nice condition. Any idea what the frame material is?

Looks like an '89. It has aluminum lugs and headtube. Cool bike, I'd pay $245.

Looks like it was pretty well taken care of. A little sprucing up and it's a $350-400 bike, IMHO. At least in my area of the country. It looks to be original as seen in the 1989 catalog. I'm seeing what looks like a 7-speed UG cassette and single-pivot brakes.

Cat seems to show a 600 stem and says the tubes are aluminium with chromo fork and stays.

Cool bike!
