Said Goodbye to an old friend

Decided to thin the herd this year. I've acquired a lot of bikes, and as I have gone along, I've slowly upgraded the stable. To that end, I wasn't riding my 1975 Raleigh Sports that much, she spent last summer hanging in the basement. I felt guilty seeing her hanging there and it was selfish to hoard these beauties. So I let her go on CL, I posted her on Thursday and she was gone by Saturday. The buyer was extremely excited and said it looked even better in person. I was asking 140, and he gave 150. So I can feel somewhat relieved that she's going to a good home where she's appreciated.... THAT or she's getting an 80cc motor bolted to her right now! AHHH

not really feeling the buyer's remorse, just sad because she was the one of the first bikes that I cut my teeth on so it was sad to see her go.

When she first was tuned... (Ignore the brake cable)

That is just funny. And possibly true.
