Dura Ace 8 speed cassette: Do I need a spacer?

Finished building my wheels today using an 8spd Dura Ace FB-8403 Hyperglide hub. I'm using an 8spd Dura Ace cassette (CS-7401).

My question: Does this combo require any type of washer/spacer between the first (inner most) cog and the freehub body?

It doesn't look like it needs one but I've never built one of these before. Thanks gang

They are hit and miss, but I predict no. The extra mm came later, I think. Even if it fits tight, you'll find out quickly on the first ride.

plonz, I haven't had to use a spacer on any of my Shimano hubs from 8 or 9 speed groups and Shimano 8 or 9 speed cassettes. Ten speed cassettes sometimes need a 1 mm spacer.
