Very pretty bike. I know next to nothing about Bianchis, but the equipment has me thinking mid 90's.

Pretty bike! If you can add close up detail shots of decals and components, it would help. I also know nothing about Bianchis, but those details help the forum members who do know... (and they know a lot...)

Welcome to the forums!! Beautiful Bianchi.

Here in the U.S. Bianchi USA starting offering EL with an oversized and oversized DT in 1994 and they ran through 1997. I don't have a 1998 catalog but I don't see EL OS in the 1999. Depending on the year these came as a complete bike or frame only. Judging from the sort of 'mixed' components (Campagnolo had long since stopped selling Delta brakes) I suspect this was bought and built up with what the buyer had on hand or wanted on it. Since we are talking about a 20+/- year od bike it could have been rebuilt several times too.

Any more pics?

It looks like it's never been ridden. I doubt you will come across one in as great a condition.

Ciao,

The bike was bought in Switzerland by Carolillo Velo,( i have sent a mail and asked them but no answer.)
The first owner was a man from Switzerland who cycled it to sweden , to his summerhouse there he used it during his vaccation.
After many years, the neighbour to the summerhouse recieved the bike as a gift for helping him with the house and garden.
After that i get the chanse to buy the bike.
This is the story i was told when i bought it last summer.

Regards
Tore

Wow, what a beauty, I love it. But, my daily ride is a celeste Eros, so I "love" most anything Bianchi. :)

Good luck trying to figure it out, but most of all, enjoy riding that thing. That's a real head turner.
