fun old team stumpy build
 

Picked up this old m2 team stumpy from a forumite. Was originally grey but had fun polishing it up. Rebuilt with old bin xt 9 speed stuff but picked up a sram descendant crankset. Works really well for what it is now, a neighborhood cruiser for rides with the kids. Had a lot of fun planning and building this thing up, without trying it's 23lbs of cruising fun.

Assuming it originally had front suspension, are there any issues with the steering using a rigid fork? Unnoticeable?

There are no issues with replacing a early suspension fork (~80mm worth of travel) with a suspension-corrected rigid fork; the handling will be the same.

I'm assuming the original fork would have been 63mm of travel so it doesn't seem to be an issue..the geometry feels good but it is just a street cruiser.

Thanks! it really is nothing special, just a bottle of meguiars polish and some elbow grease...easily, and cheaply emulated.
