Hello all,

I stumbled upon a listing which the seller claims it is a Mercier Classic.
However, there is little info with few photos of the bicycle.

Please help me identify !
Much appreciated !!!

Meh, photos aren't much to go on, unfortunately :(

Looks like there might be a crown engraving on the fork crown, but it could be wishful thinking, too. I think you ought to see if the seller can provide more detailed photos. Failing that, go take a look for yourself, satisfy your curiosity.

Welcome to the forums. The frame features are 1980s. While the Shimano Sport LX shifters are late 1980s , I'd place it earlier than that based on the brakes and hubs. I also see dropout eyelets. Typically that would indicate a recreational touring model, no higher than lower mid-range.
