My Two Centurions

Hello again...

I thought I would share some pictures of my two Centurion Bikes. One 1984 Pro Tour 15 and the other a 1985 Ironman. I have had the Pro Tour since 2013 and bought the Ironman new. The Pro Tour has some non-standard components (RD, seat, handle bar, brake levers, rear hub), I am in the process of collecting parts to bring it closer to stock. The Ironman is basically unchanged from stock with the exception of pedals (clipless), it even has the original bar tape. Gotta love those Biopace chainrings! Question: Do you think the steering headset is original? The '84 catalog says it came with Tange Falcon, but it has the Tange Levin.

I have been riding the Pro Tour until now this year and just finished a service and cleaning on the Ironman. I have ridden the Ironman once this year, you can feel every pebble with this bike! I love the way both ride.

Enjoy...

David
