Thrift Shop Bike for 10.00

I saw a ZebraKenko sitting in the back alley of the thrift shop today for 10.00 I couldnt pass it up......not when I saw the components, anyway.

Here is what it has:

Ishwata 022 Chomemoly "Wind"
Suntour BL 6sp group w/downtube shifter (brazeon)
DiaCompe "G" brakes
Sugino crankset
Rigida alum wheels (700cx25 tires)

It's needing the usual cleanup, tires/tubes/bar tape and such but is all intact and not abused....even the original burnt orange w/gold metal flake paint is in great shape.

I'm going to spiff it up and give it to a friend who needs a road bike. It's not as light or nice as my Trek460 but hey, 10.00!

Can anyone give me a guess on the age or any other tidbits of info?

80s? Judging from the components and 700 wheels...

I guess I should give up trying to get specific info on the year for such an uncommon brand, hey?

Another question.......

The rims are different sizes as are the tire widths. Front has Arraya rims w/20's and the back has Rigida w/25's. Should I stick with this size of tire or could I use 23's on both?

Thanx for the help!

You can use pretty much any size on either. unless they don't have a hook. Suntour BL was an early '80s group, I'm pretty sure. And one that seems to attract interest in collectors on eBay, btw.
