What about Jimmy Osmond's "Swing Bike"?
Sure piqued one's interest when you hear the name of the bike,.....but then, some referred to it as the "Death Bike", I guess because one is liable to crash at least a few times on it before figuring out how to ride it.
I wonder where the Osmond lawyers were when little Jimmy signed up to endorse the bike......

"swing and a miss" (to quote Vin Scully)

To judge from what is painted on a friend's bike, "TREK TREK TREK TREK TREK TREK TREK". I'm not sure that's enough TREK's.

A French guy I rode with in the mid-1960s had a Roold and then got an Oscar Egg.
Always liked the Kabuki bikes with the downtube decal reading "Tested Finest Bicycle With Precision Mechanism."

On a more serious note. I've always liked the name Pinarello and especially in combination with the great model Montello.
Pinarello Montello
It's sounds like a dessert, could be a ice cream flavor.

Ha - translating the Cyrillic lettering comes out to "Mazi 3V" from a company that had its heyday in the 40's, 50's, and 60's - USSR.

That's OK. Anything more expensive would likely be wasted on me and my riding skills. It's pretty vanilla but it's holding up nicely. Picked it up through Nashbar.

Pedalin' Erry Day
"Sannow" - it's a transliteration of the characters 山王, which happens to be the name of the neighborhood in Tokyo where these bikes were originally made and sold, with the added bonus that the characters themselves literally mean "mountain king."

We special ordered a couple tubes of DZ Nuts for one of our customers. Our young salesman, who was unaware of the special order, was rather confused when her son came in looking "to pick up deez nuts for my mom"....
