Suntour Edge Ovaltech Cranks

Any thoughts on this crank. I recently purchased a 1989 Schwinn Prelude and this was on it. How does it tcompare to the more current oval chainring cranks.

I had a set of Ovaltech chainrings on a Trek 400. I thought they were fine. From what I remember, Ovaltech was SR's answer to Shimano's Biopace.

Oval chain rings seem to get the blame for wrecking people's knees... Some say they're better on your knees. Some say they make no difference on your knees...

I didn't know anyone was working on this sort of thing these days. What goes around, comes around... again.
