Noobies - post your location!

If you're really interested in C&V bicycles, and would like to meet and work on bikes or ride with others with the same interests, you'd likely be surprised that there are others like you nearby.

I'm not big into clubs and large gatherings of people, but I've met a lot of great people here. @jyl invited me to my first C&V ride a few years ago, the only way he knew to was my Portland, OR tag

You don't have to be specific - largest city near you would suffice. It gets entered under User CP (Control Panel), located near the upper left hand corner of the page, then Edit your Details Under Your Control Panel. Scroll down Where you live

The same wisdom applies to those who choose to entertain us with their vague, nonsensical, or vexatious entries in the location field?

Will be on vacation from august 14-sept 7.
Key is under the mat.
Please vacuum the carpets before you leave, water the cactus and feed my pet rock.
Also no test drives in any of the lambos or ferraris.

I'm seeing chocolate pie, chocolate cream pie, pumpkin pie, possibly apple pie, and ice chunks. It all looks good to me.

I do agree its pretty odd when newbies post something like: "help me find a bike", or "help me with my bike", and then don't have a location listed. so much easier to help if one knows where they are - at least which country!

I drive a standard quite well, and would love to make sure there is no carbon build-up present in either of those when you get back and fancy a drive...
