In house transfer...
The lightest bike to ever make its way into my stable and the shiniest bike to ever make it to my stable. Both Italian...both exceptional...
The lightest bike I've dreamed about riding for 8 years...when I first saw it in a member/friend's garage. It might be the most impressive frame I've ever seen...though I suspect it won't be everybody's cup of tea. It has some things that make it unique to the builder. I'm not too into the Grail thing, but this is that kind of bike. Neither of these are bikes that you can just go and find on eBay.
I'll leave this here for now and post photos tomorrow

Nahhhhhh
Much more unique and interesting...at least IMO.
(Keeping in mind I have esoteric tastes)
They're gonna impress I suspect!

You are a cruel and heartless individual Aaron, now we will be anxiously awaiting the reveals.
Should be worthwhile to just wait and find out.

Good guess...I do like Freschi.
There was a Freschi tandem I came close to pulling the trigger on once.

I really like the green on the chrome Marastoni. Nice change from the typical red.
Beautiful bikes!

I love the look of the shifters on that, looks right at home. Did someone grind and sand down a set of Campy shifters?

LIGHT. Haven't weighed it, but it feels at least 2 lbs lighter than my next lightest bike. I'd guess 17ish.

Good gracious Aaron.
You have outdone yourself this time.
Both are beyond compare, but that Marastoni........
FWIW I've been talking to a West Coast builder about a new frameset and the topic of chrome came up.
He gave me a pretty strong environmental argument against using it if possible.
In fact, we had to do a repair on the front rack on my wife's MAP and we decided to powdercoat the thing versus re-chroming it.
I'm not mentioning this to knock your new bike. I am saying enjoy it even more because I don't really see anything new (builders) going in this direction.
Makes an interesting historical statement.
Just my .02 cents...

Two worthy additions to your collection, Aaron.
I have no problem painting over bad chrome to match the existing paint. I'm doing that myself on that Cinelli Super Corsa.
I sure do like seeing nice old chrome, though.
