Well none of that is true at all, but it's still a lovely bike. I don't even regard my opinion highly.

Noticed that you brought up Brian Baylis and I was lucky enough to buy one of the last frames he restored. It is a an 88' De Rosa Professional SLX Frameset from everything I have been able to dig up about it and what the shop owner I bought it from knew, as it had been built up and put in his window for a few years.
