Bottom bracket for 1984-ish Italian????

I have a 1984+ Ciocc Designer 84 and am going to use 1980's SR cranks, so post CPSC. 70 mm bottom bracket. For some reason I have 111 mm stuck in my head. However, after I look at Velobase I am more confused. Last bike I set up a few years ago was my Merckx with C-record cranks and 8/9 speed (lol I can't remember how many cogs. Sad really). Is 111 mm for C-record? Velobase doesn't have Italian BB listed. They just say add 1 mm to BSC or French which would put it at 114.5 + 1 + 115.5 mm. Is this the correct width I should be using?

Well, yes, a Campy Italian spindle, new style, is about 115.5. But that is not how you figure out old Campy. It is a 1046/a bottom bracket with 744 70 SS spindle. If the post CPSC nightmare distinction between +1.0 spindles and +1.5 spindles ends up making any difference you will need hands on help from an old Campy guy.

On the Bicycle Classics site, there's a pretty good table of Campy Spindle BB fettling.

According to this 115 is correct for an Italian BB VeloBase.com - Component: Campagnolo 1046/a, Nuovo Record (Strada)

Thanks for all the replies. 115 mm does look like the right length for the SR cranks I have. Add another 1 mm for Phil Wood. Thanks Bianchgirll.
