Help me identify my old "Fisher"

I'm having a hard time finding info on old "Fishers," mainly because you just get sites with the new stuff (all the "Gary Fisher" bikes.)

I'm sure some of you already know exactly what this bike is, so instead of endlessly wasting my time, I figured I'd ask here.

Plus, it's pink, it's awesome.

Questions:

What is it?
What year (roughly) is it?

It looks like a '90 Advance. That was just under the HKII that year.

Might be a 91.

Don't think that color was offered in 90.

Great looking bike --- I like the period correct decals

Being a Fisher, would possibly be worth carefully touching up the paint if you can match it (i'd probably farm that task out though)

It is pink, I could probably find nail polish that matches haha.

In all honesty though, I've gotta sell it. I recently moved to a smaller place and it just doesn't ride as well as my univega from the same era. The super long stem doesn't help. (I know that was normal for the time) But the stem is also a threaded 1 1/4. So it's not super easy to find replacements.

it appears to be a 1990 Fisher Celerity.

Also, another funny thing about this bike.

The handlebars are definitely original... I know this because they're labeled "Fisher bulge." The 12 year old in me giggled.

I agree with T-Mar, Celerity. Frame made in Taiwan. The model name was on the top tube just after the cable stop.

The serial number is under the down tube. Probably starts with the letter "S" and followed by 8 digits. The serial number probably contains information about the date of frame manufacture.

FYI, if interested in keeping as a rider, Nitto makes a 1-1/4 threaded stem adapter to 1-1/8 threadless. 1-1/4" threaded enjoyed a brief time as a tandem 'standard', so there are more than a few frames (forks) that call for that size.
