I found an Inter 10 at a pawn shop for $40 out here in West Texas. I was looking for a steel frame road bike in my size at the time. I’m 6’2 and the frame is almost too big! Anyways, it has been a great bike over the past two years. I put a green brooks colt saddle on it along with some new gum wall tires. Looks great… I should probably take some pics to post.

Since this thread has been been revived: since my previous post (# 9) mine has been shimergo'ed into a comfy touring bike:

Fenders and decent size tires...who’d have thought it would fit...?

New

Since I’m new to the forum, it isn’t letting me post a pic… I’ll try and get to 10 posts sooner rather than later.

It does. And quite nicely, too. Find one of these frames in your size and you will not be disappointed.

I’ve seen one AD for sale near me...about a two hour drive...and it was an Ultima just out of my size range...

The cool vintage badges are rare in these parts...

Bicycling was never a thing in the low country...(not your lowcountry!)

These bikes were US market only, so your chances of finding one are a heck of a lot better than mine. And I found one. So there's reason for optimism, I'd say. :)

The comparable Puch Royal Force and Royal 10 models were sold in Macon and Atlanta and probably elsewhere too. Scan FB marketplace regularly - there was a 23-in Inter-10 in an ad out of Atlanta along with what the seller was focused on, an old Schwinn mtb.

My Puch came to me after I made a deal with an LBS to pay the seller and ship the bike to me. I could not be happier about that deal.

Bears repeating - the Graz-built Puchs and A-Ds with 531 tubing were all silver-brazed and nicely mitered.
