Viceroy restoration time.
Hi
This is my first post here.
I'm trying to upload pictures but it keeps failing.
The Viceroy was my first good bike. The tyres were massive and despite it weighing a tonne, I could keep up with my brother on his burner supertuff 2!
After 30 years of being in my mum's shed, I thought I'd get it out.
Being a graphic designer, I will hopefully be able to recreate the decals but the overall restoration will be a long process.
Does anyone know the model? Yellow, chopper style seat, huge tyres.
I'll have to blast the frame back to bare steel and then colour match. The parts are mainly there apart from 1 pedal and the brake levers are crazily bent. Hopefully I can restore everything apart from the bolts!
I thought I'd share the first photo or two.
ps. Still got the burner with mags!
Paul
