Not really a natural mix of parts to build up this bike...... but everything on it fell nicely into place.....

[QUOTE=RiddleOfSteel;20029272]I do quite like the road bike as well, but man, the Cinelli Laser (Pista) in its various Evolutions is drool-worthy.

X3. The clean lines of track are eye candy. And the Laser track or road is just stunning.

I very much agree. The filleting and gusseting are out of this world.

Thanks Drillium Dude, I have a real soft spot (brain) for old track bikes and spices. The 'bends', I'm proud to say. are Aussie made but ashamed to say that I don't know who the manufacturer actually was. They are just right.

Thanks RiddleOfSteel for posting that just about heart stopping photo of that Cinelli track Laser.

And....... 2 of my all time favourite Forum bikes in the one thread....... DD's stripped back Colnago and Chombi1's ALAN.

Chombi1 your Carbon ALAN is one of my most desired bikes as it is perfect in every way. I especially love the seatpost / frame combo (not shown). The Weinmann Deltas are an inspired touch too. It is just right.

I wish my wife would let me do that to our living room wall. Could there be anything more aesthetically pleasing than a wall full of Pista's? Great photo iab.

Yeah, @Chombi1 , you will not find me caring if those components aren't traditionally put together on a bike, they look absolutely perfect in your Alan. Like it should have been that way from the factory!

Chrome Forks and stays; Hi-E hubs; Mafac Racers with full gun hood drilled levers; Tan sidewalls: flint catchers; Bob Jackson Frames with matching paneled seat tube and head tube; Velox bar plugs; Silca Impero pumps; and lets not forget the beautiful Stronglight 93 star cranks. Oops, real leather honey colored saddles... Yep that is it for now.

A perfectly executed solution for the rack attachment, paint to match Silca and all the rest.

Right by Jim, right by me.
