I did find a 56cm C-37 from the same batch my first bike was. Top tube is a bit longer than I would like at 56, but a very close return to the past. I have been looking for red half hoods... originals that come up are in sad shape, I did find reproductions but they are 30% of the price I bought the used whole bike for. Ouch.

Grr. I really must figure this google photos sharing stuff or use another host. I test it using a non-logged-in window, and it displays for me. I don't get it.

Google disabled photo link sharing a couple years ago. There was no announcement; they just did it. I had the same experience. I logged into my google account, I could see the linked image, but no one else could. Sometimes I could see it without logging in, and it seemed sort of random.

Now I use Flickr, or just upload directly using the forum software. Even Flickr requires a bit of a kludge to get a link that can be tagged with an IMG tag.

How are you sharing/getting the URL? I've always had challenges with gphotos too. If I could crack the code it would be great.

ascherer, I right-click on the picture to open it in a new tab. Then in that new tab, I grab the URL. I test it by opening the picture in an incognito window. If that works, I don't know why others can't see it here.

It used to be that you could grab an actual html address that ends in .jpg or .png etc that way, but now all that's available is a very long string of some apparently dynamic code, typicall ending in "no". I guess I could ask one of my programmer friends whats going on, but it's clear to me that linked image sharing has been blocked. Not sure why it can be visible on your own computer even after locked out. Possibly they take into consideration your IP address or cookies.

Example:

How are you adding it to your posts? Pasting the url into the upload files feature that comes up when you click the photo icon in the posting WYSIWYG editor? I'd heard that Google Photos need to be in a shared album to work like that.

Just add it to your BF gallery and post it. As long as BF is here, it'll be here.

Did someone say black bike ? Currently a work in progress ... If I can get over this cold bug I have I will get out there and get it finished! This will be my first 1x wide range "mullet" build as the millennial hipsters are calling them . So far I am on my target for this bike to be lighter than 27 pounds as built by Specialized. Of course they used a lot of boat anchor heavy parts on this bike to begin with. It is actually not that heavy of a frame .. My goal is to come under 25 pounds and I will make it .

79 Panasonic Track. It was an entry level track bike and drilled for brakes.

90 Trek 750 Multitrack almost completed rebuild.

60's Schwinn Typhoon. I sold this years ago. It was a blast to ride but riding it made my knees hurt.
