I'd love to but I'll never part with this frame. Here's why.

my bike history was first road bike a 59cm, two years later a 56, 59 was too big to race on. I was young and tall, everyone thought I would attain 6’ plus. Never happened.
now 55-56 center to top depending on the top tube.
I did find a 56 cm sistership of my first road bike, but that will be for another month, they all were black.

In 1972 I was a bit shorter and still growing. At my peak I was 6' 4" and I've lost about an inch. I rode 62s for many years and 2 years ago got a 63 cm frame that I like very much. French fit, to be sure. The Peugeot is way too small but I made it work, and in my mentor's honor I commuted on it for a couple of seasons. It never felt too small under me. Moving forward it will probably be more of a guest bike at our upstate house.

Happy New Year! I’ve managed to hold onto this bicycle through divorce, multiple moves, a new relationship and home buying. Almost sold her a couple of times.. only ridden on dry, sunny days. I am on mixed tubulars..shopping for an upgrade (tyres) for Springtime. :)

I had a white 1973 Peugeot UO-8 that looked better and rode better than a bike in that price range had any right to. I eventually cracked the chainstay between the chainring and tire clearance dimples. :(

I do have two littermate off-white Capo Siegers, one original, the other repainted, and I did have a pearl-colored Peugeot PKN-10 before I gave it to my elder son because it fits him better than it fits me.

Still have this one, but now it wears 650bx32 tires so that I can fit a front brake easier :)

Haven't ridden it all that much lately since the chainline is about 3mm off and it makes a lot of noise with a 1/8" cog and chain on a 3/32 chainring. Chainline issue should be solved here in the next couple of weeks and I'm hoping that it quiets down. It's a bit embarrassing to have a fixed gear make more noise than a geared bike :o

This one was sold off a couple years ago. It was my 'low-trail curious' bike.

I worked at a Peugeot/Nishiki dealership in the early 1970s, and I still have a "thing" for white Peugeots, particularly the PX-10s. Great thread!

Then again, it works great, rides well and I like it. Probably the only original part on the bike is the headset and the center pull brake hangers. The seat and tires have been change since the picture. This, will keep evolving.
