My white bike - a 1997 Trek 730 MultiTrack. Bought it to be my beater bike, but after some cleaning, lubing and adjusting - and customizing - it's become my favorite ride. It's a clean machine.

FWIW, it is now snowing. All the bikes are snug in their beds with visions of sugarplums in their headsets.

Reminds me of assembling these at the bike shop I worked for long ago. Not a bad fixed gear choice. Esge kickstands for them were cut at 285 line, most European bikes at 265. Reason was the Japanese did not want pedal strike lawsuits.

Challenge accepted! $5 Huffy Techtra. With Paselas, it doesn't ride horribly, although it's too small. Weight isn't an issue here in the flat lands.

Neglected by me for 4 years, paid $35, refurbished last month, but not dialed in. The new Ergo grips are very comfortable on flat bar MTBs.

But here’s my 1989 Trek 1000. My first aluminum road bike, and I’m liking it. Liking the bright white paint too.

Next steps are dealing with paint scuffs, better pedals, and new tires, preferably in 28... it’s got 25mm now. Anyone know for certain whether 28s will work on these frames? I have some 32s lying around and there’s no way those are gonna happen...

its mostly white... as close to an all white bike as i have..

A couple of ghost bikes created a few days ago and in the background my '76 Viscount which just received new bottom bracket bearings.

The sobering story is the purpose of the ghost bikes. Ride safe all.

Secondly my 1984 Raleigh Corsa in Oyster, bought new and built in the Lightweight Unit at Nottingham - first year for the Corsa and only year for this paint.

My white Paramount, and a very nicely-maintained ghost bike, sniffing each other's butts, on Old Creek Road near Morro Bay California last weekend. I can tell the victim was well-loved, and is undoubtedly missed. :(

Grief aside, we have had the most fantastic winter for riding I have seen in an entire lifetime of living in the Golden State. There has yet to be a single day this fall and winter when the riding conditions were not superb (and mostly warm). The smoke was a little bad at times during October, but it's been a great year to hit the hills during our so-called cool months. I have yet to wear even leg warmers all this year.
