I agree with everyone, and I apologize again for my impatience.

Quick update to all - the box has landed here. I will post some pics soon, likely tomorrow, and it will be sent by Saturday to @Whit51, whose address I already have.

O great and powerful Crapmaster, please move me down the list (again) about 2 months. Real life is still not allowing me time to dream of crappy boxes.

Unboxing:

And my take:

The timing on this is perfect, as I'm piecing together a 10-speed group for an eventual upgrade. There is some really nice crap in there, including a couple of things I would characterize as amazing finds. I will figure out what to put in there to make sure I'm giving as good as I get, and it will likely ship out Friday, Sat at latest.

Is that a CENTOS derailleur? Never heard of it. I'm a user of CentOS Linux.

It is -- it is Microshift's current name for its 10-speed road group (and its lower grade 11-speed group). I've been eyeing this brand for a while so I can upgrade to indexing and brifters at lower cost than with Shimano/Campy/SRAM.

A co-worker called their stuff uninspired, but said they they certainly work.

I can think of no higher praise

I was impressed with the shiny finish of the RD. Nice to see not everyone has gone to angular black amodized or carbon fiber.

I agree. I'm totally over those looks. The CENTOS derailleur is handsome even if it's mediocre.

NoobinSF made arrangements to have the special steel reinforced Box O Crap flown accross the continent to Dulles International airport. It was promptly delivered to me by a uniformed representative of the Federal goverment. Next it goes to norider in NY. Pics of the box as received and my haul are submitted for your consideration. Note: having trouble uploading pics, will post them ASAP.

There were two but they did not match. They had RDs in them.

Microshift for a while lately has had the only shiny road RD's. They are Shimano-compatible and they seem fine to me. They just don't have much presence in the market. I pulled a 9-speed Microshift MTB derailleur out of the box as you can see a couple pages ago, which had an attractive machined-thru-black design. (better pic than mine taken from Ali Express)

Yes, I received it. I'm traveling now, writing this on a bus. I'll post pictures, grab my crappy spoils, drop some crap in, and send it off.

In a strange coincidence I am sandwiched by a couple of 51's. I received the box o' crap from @Whit51, and this morning, I sent it off to @Dean51.

I feel bad, because there were things I had queued up to put in but didn't remember until it was all sealed up. I really didn't want to break my seals and start again. Well, next time I hope I remember.

As received, with post cards covering up addresses

Ooh, look!

A peek inside

My take
