@mountaindave, that headset is from me. I bought it thinking I would need it one day. What was I thinking?

With four French bikes, I need it - thanks!

Funny coincidence that the previous time around provided me with a French thread BB!

Yeah, that box may last me years! I was also afraid that, in the heat of summer, it might tip over, melt, and coat the contents of the BOC.

I need to put some on now, we’ve been Marie Kondo-ing our office and cleaning supplies are hard on the hands!

@nesteel still owes us pictures, but he kept the crap flowing in good order.

I think at least 10 pounds of that was packing tape holding the overstuffed box closed.

Now I've got crap all over my dining room table.

It didn't really exceed 35 pounds, did it?

I didn't weigh it. It's heavy, but I don't think it's 35 pounds. The post office clerk told me that it would have been $95 to send it by priority mail without the flat rate box. She also gently suggested that it wouldn't be too soon to replace the box. In any event, the crap is now on its way to @nlerner.

My take:

BOC landed with a loud thud on my doorstep yesterday afternoon.

As received:

My take:

I'll swap in a new box and some craptastic bits and send it along to @the_sci_guy once I have his address (the_sci_guy, I sent you a PM or you can just email to lerner dot n at gmail dot com).

@the_sci_guy, you'll be in for a treat, Neal always reloads the box with stuff that ain't really crap.

I'm liking the fact that the permanent box is getting stickerized! It's a nice touch.

WFMU is a really cool radio station. Listen to their internet feed. Whatever they play, you have not heard it before. That seems to be their aim.

Well, at the risk of getting banned from BOC for life, I decided to ditch the metal box. After several rounds of loading crap, I've found that it's really heavy and makes closing the BOC really difficult. I opted for a plastic liner made from cut up gallon jugs.

Now, if someone wants that metal box back, I'm glad to send!

I can also note that there's some serious crap that I left in the box, even after removing a fair amount of stuff to make room for my stuff. In particular, lots of sets of canti brakes. Someone claim those, please! The BOC needs space for new crap.

@nlerner will not be banned! He is one of the good ones. I would take the box if you are willing to sent my way. Might see if I can still use it when it gets back to me. If you have some french stuff to sell, I might be willing there too.
