Vintage Tandem Cranks - Chater-Lea

Hi All

We are looking for a nice pair of Chater-Lea tandem cranks for a full rebuild we are working on. If you had a pair you would like to see back on a working tandem from 1920s/30s let me know.

Many Thanks

Andy

Cool bike!

Can't provide any cranks myself, but it is likely that that bike does not need "tandem specific" cranks. Many (most?) tandems from that era and even into the '50s used drive-side timing chains. So a pair of standard Chater Lea cranks will do the job, provided you can get the rings you want.

You are 100% correct and we will do that as a fall back. I just thought it would be nice to get a complete tandem drive train it would be cool.

Thanks for the response.
