I've posted before however here's probably my last version besides consumables. Period correct Dura Ace except brakeset and crankset.

My favorite bike and my favorite original 6 speed Gripshift.

Slightly downscale, and a bit of a mish-mash, version of the above:

Here is our tandem, a Burley Zydeco. It has MTB wheels and now has a 3x11 drivetrain.

1984 Tommasini in pink.
Got it from the original owner who bought the frame at Bill Lewis' Alt Koenig shop here in Austin and had it built up with mostly 600 components.

and still have these red bikes posted in the past: Last Year Here

My previous post in this thread was a bit off-topic, so how about a pair of red/maroon Miyatas?

The first was too big for me (I bought it knowing it wouldn't fit me and because I couldn't see this sought-after tourer being turned into an urban 'fixie') so I passed it along to a taller BF.net forumite who has since passed it on -- still in its original form....

'81-82 Miyata 1000

And then earlier this past year, another BF member offered this '88 Miyata 615 in my niece's size... so I snagged it for her.
BUT, since the Covid BS prevented her from coming back east to collect it, it sits in my garage --waiting for her input on brake lever placement so I can finally wrap the bars!

Circa 1965 Dilecta Le Blanc. Red fading to pink in places. One of my favorite bikes.

This one has some pink bits. I've been thinking about having it repainted in pearl white (simply because I really like pearl white frames), similar to the Colnago PR99 colour scheme, but the original paintwork is in pretty great condition, so I can't really justify that yet.

Tx Tom, we've had a few posts asking not to do this, many of us are not prolific photogs so new pics of existing bikes don't always happen.

I like new pics of the same bikes as much as the next but we have plenty of new members that will be seeing them for the first time.

@rjhammett, interesting Burley tandem. What model is it? See mine above in this thread. It’s kinda OK. My position as captain is too upright for me, so I want to fix that. The bike weighs 50 pounds (23 kg).

noglider, the tandem is a Burley Samba. The photo that I had initially posted was what it looked like when I bought it. I updated the post with what it looks like now. I upgraded the derailleurs, shifters, saddles, pedals, rear bars and converted the rear hub axle from solid to quick release. It weighs 39 pounds.
