MTB shifting issue
 

Indexed shifters, XT rear derailleur. Limit screw set right, r/d has free movement. I cleaned and lubed the shifter, but I can't get the last three cogs. Seems like the shifter isn't catching. Anything I'm missing or haven't tried?

Could be the shifting mech inside is gummed up. Spray some degreaser in the shifter while working it. Afterwards when it runs through the gears, spray some lube in there.

Yep I got it, just needed to work the shifter more. I figured that was the problem when the second bike did the same thing. I’m working on the police department Trek bikes.
