Possible Brooks reclamation project
 

I've had an old Brooks B66 saddle with a rotted/torn leather top sitting in my junk box for ages. The other day found a B73 with broken frame at an estate sale. Since the tops appear to be same (or close to) same size, I'm going to try mixing and matching parts to see if I can end up with a usable saddle. The B73 is a bit splayed out as it appears to have been ridden without the proper nose tensioning bolt.

Perhaps is is the perspective in the photo, but the rails do not seem to be the same length.

I think it will work. Turning the nuts inside the springs can be a challenge, but at least you don't have to mess with rivets.
