pretty sure I have a pair of "combo" that fit this description. I'll try to remember to find them and snap pix, they will certainly have "low-mid cosmetics", IIRC.

I also have a perfect spot for another combo pair. (I have two or three so far, and I love them almost as much as bar-cons.)

saddle quest
maybe there's someone out there who bought a brooks imperial and didn't like it and would want to trade for a basically-new Brooks B17 or C13?

Hey all, I'm looking for the right side of a vintage silver Blackburn lowrider rack (pictured). I, unfortunately, lost mine in an accident recently, and it didn't survive my bending it back into shape. There are a few relevant eBay listings, but they're very expensive and include more than just the right side I'm looking for. If anyone has one in un-damaged condition they'd like to get rid of, feel free to reach out. I'm willing to buy or trade, but I don't have much of value to trade for.

To spare us the hassle of emailing (cannot attach pix into the C&V PMs) Here are two pairs that I dug up and have offered to USAZorro for coverage of shipping.
But if he rejects them (or either one pair) anybody else who wants what's left you get the same deal: FREE if you pay for shipping.
Sad to report the two are just a little too bulky to both fit in a small-flat-rate USPS box...dammit, Jim!

Crusty? oh Yes! but they all spin Okay and they should also be rebuildable, if you want to fill your days with tiny ball bearings.
EDIT: these are both GONE to USAZorro, thanks!

North Roads
Hey All,
Wanting to see what is out there on BF in the way of vintage steel North Road bars. Would prefer the ones which came on older American bikes from the 60-70’s. Good chrome please.
I have lots of drop bars or such to trade for them.
Thanks for considering!

Grips…
Okay,
Lets try something a little more easier.
Want: hard rubber grips from American bikes. Colours of brown, white or black preferred. No Hunt Wilde pls. Aged from the 60-70’s would be great.
Trade: lots of stuff!
Thanks!

ISO Ultegra Front wheel
Hi folks,
ISO Shimano Ultegra 6500 front wheel that has a 700C silver boxed rim with either 32 or 36 spokes. Doesn’t need to pristine, but I’d like one in decent shape. For trade, I have an “Aero” Shimano Ultegra (6700?) front wheel that was part of my compensation for servicing and repairing a neighbor’s bike. It has 16 straight pull spokes in a radial pattern. The rim is labeled “Shimano Ultegra”. There is also a small label saying “Shimano Wheel Technology, 15 X 622”. The bearings are smooth and it looks true, but I haven’t checked it on the truing stand. A few minor scratches, but the brake surface is very good. It weighs ~800 grams with skewer & rim strip. See pix for visual details. I would also consider a wheel with a Tri-color hub that’s VGC.
If you would like additional info or pix, please email me.
Thanks and regards,
Van

If it's just not grabbing on the upshift, soak it in some WD or PB blaster. Those things never really give up, usually they just get gummed up and pawls stop engaging. I'd be willing to bet that you can bring it back with and hour of soaking. Even a good degreaser would probably work wonders.
