Davieboy Sorry for the delay - busy week. Yeah, I was hoping that my old and quality front wheel could trade for not so old and quality set of wheels.

I really don't have much else to trade. Just some old '70's vintage:
Simplex RD's
1 Simplex FD (delron intact - kinda like to keep)
1 old Suntour VT luxe RD
some Mayfac center pull brakes
one set of Peugeot branded brakes
36h Raleigh (Suzue) high flange rear hub w/o skewer
36h Normandy high flange front hub w/ skewer
one pair of very used of Peugeot UE8 fenders (but reclaimable)
rear carrier from that UE8 (kinda like to keep that)
one generator also from that Peugeot UE8

As I said, I don't have alot to trade. But let me know if anything clicks. Thanks

No intention here to cut in, but if itís fair and reasonable, I would like to offer possible trade ideas for the Suntour. But only if itís a long cage GT version, and if Davieboy Davieboy isnít interesting in the RD first.

I have aluminum rims in both 27Ē and 700c which may help your situation. I have hubs. And I also have a small amount of various other non-wheel related components left if interested. Let me know...

Thanks!

Just one more post and you will be able to post photos. (minimum of 10 posts required)
If you post a photo of your wheel with the Campy hub it might entice someone who has a pair of lesser alloy-rim 27" wheels to trade with you.

In search of one matching Mavic G40 32h rim to pair with this lightly used example..,

Also in need of an MA40 32h to go with this one...

Priority is towards the G40 as I would love to have a G40 wheelset for a particular build in mind. The MAís will do if necessary however. I can be happy enough with Ďem!

I can buy if the price is reasonable, but Iíd prefer to trade. I have other rims as well as other C&V items of possible interest.

Thanks,
Matt

OK, let's try this with photos.
ISO a matching (27 or 700c) set of lesser alloy wheels that I can put on my Peugeot UO8 project. Looking to use tubes and a free wheel. As previously posted, I'm hoping to trade this 27" front wheel for that matching set. What I have is a 27" tubular Fiamme rim laced to a Campagnolo large flange with round holes. The locking nut says CAM 72. Also, this wheel spins almost perfect. There are some rim scratches and it will need to be dressed a little. But I think this really is a quality vintage set-up. Hopefully, worthy of the trade I have in mind.
See post #1017 for a few other items I might have to add to the trade.

Tubular rim

Curb scratches

CAM 72 locking nut

Campagnolo hub

Fiamme rim

Some other minor scratches

Thanks!

I've added a few photos of the SunTour VT Luxe. Don't know if this is the version you are looking for or not. Sorry for the poor photo quality.

But. I am interested in the wheels, rims, and hubs you have for a trade. See my previous post for the photos of the wheel I have, in case you have in

terest there.

How do we typically go further? email, or just keep going back and forth on this thread?

As turns out a derailleur was offered to me within a day of posting. I bought it. Sometimes you gotta act quick in the buy/sell/trade world here. So Iím no longer in need of one, but thanks for posting pics. Perhaps someone else will be lhere looking for a Vx GT Luxe.

Anyway, if youíre interested still. I can offer you a set of rims and hubs for a reasonable price. Feel free to send me a private message.

I'm also looking for some sturdy bottle cage clamps. I had bought some of the Velo Orange ones, but I'm not terribly impressed with how sturdy they are. I'd prefer something French, but not too picky. Nothing too bulky though

For a 1976 Motobecane Grand Jubile. I didn't have the top tube clamps, and somehow lost the chainstay cable stop
i have a chainstay cable stop you are welcome too if still looking. Donít have the fixing bolt or nut.

From some orphaned parts out of my sonís shed. Amazing how this forum can make you a pack rat. This is why I grabbed them.

What width are you looking for? And youíre probably looking for better condition than what I can offer. Note the nasty little scratch across the shield logo. BUT just in case... these measure 39 cm c-c.

No levers to offer unfortunately.
