Also in need of:

• Campy Record curved lever QR skewers - rear needs to fit a 128 mm 6 speed hub

• Jim Blackburn bare aluminum bottle cage

Have:

Not much stash worthy of trade, as I’ve just about gotten rid of everything not needed.

But... I do have a great co-op in town that might help with supplying what you might want in trade. And of course I’m happy to buy outright if the asking price is reasonable.

Thanks.
I have ridden many miles on Gatorskins, I know they are not a favorite of many here but I have done just fine with them or step up to GP 4 seasons. BTD has them for $36 and $44 folding versions right now with free ship and buyers club money back on future purchase.

Not proper skin or gumwall but I like them better most of the time.

Price point is right. However, they miss a couple important criteria for the application.

The Eisentraut frame came in at under 6 lbs. but built up its already become quite a heavy machine. And the Continentals weigh a good bit themselves. I’m hoping for a lighter pair of tires.

Also, in keeping with era appointments... absolutely gotta have those tan walls on this bike!

I have a pair of 172.5 arms, some shoe rub, no rings. PM me if that might be of interest.

I have not heard from the ebay seller regarding his 170 mm crank arms. If you would, please get a couple of pics of your crank arms and let me know what you are looking to get for them. You pm or e-mail me, or just post to this thread if you prefer. I can take a look tomorrow and get a list of tradeables that I have. As stated before, USA green is OK. Thanks

One suggestion I would make is to look for an original Sentinel Whisper. They don't go for much money, and they came with a complete Shimano 600 / Tourney group, including hubs and bar-end shifters.
Edit: The cranks are actually Takagi, but still follow the Tourney theme. If you find a Whisper GT, it should come with a 600 long cage RD.

I need front and rear cable hangers for centerpull, actually cantilever, brakes. To make matters worse, the seatpost bolt that came with the frame isn't keyed, but splined.

I've been trying to build this bike to give to a co-worker but it keeps needing small things I thought I might have but don't. It's like pulling teeth. Argh.

I'm sure I could dig up a couple Dia Compe hangers for the cost of postage.

Thanks! Lemmee take some measurements but I'm pretty sure it's vintage stuff. I will drop you a note in a minute. Jim

Guys I'm needing to do some work on the first "vintage" bike I've bought. It's a 1984 Trek 620. I need a headset wrench for it, maybe toe clips and straps, and a front rack. To trade I have a (almost) brand new Bontrager Back Rack Deluxe silver. It's the one that comes on the new 720. I also have a pair of brand new, in the package, Schwalbe Marathon 700 x 28. It would be great to trade those tires for a new pair of 27 x 1 1/4" tires. I've also go a set of clip-on tri bars, Pyramid by Scott. They are in great condition.

@velo352 I have a whole set of mafac brakes + that small TA front rack. Do you just need the levers or all the bits?
The ones I have do not have the plastic covers.

I will take a look, I may have what you need.

Are your Tipo hubs high or low flange?
