These rank way up in the best collections I've ever seen. They're all just gorgeous.

Clever lighting and countless hours of work. Every one of my bikes starts just as your Falcon is now...a nice deal on a bike or a frame that I felt was worth my time and effort.

Cheers...

No way my Falcon is gonna look like those high class beauties -i`d have to clean it properly first!

Tho i will crack out my old canon and shoot a roll of film off the next sunny day we have,

camera phones just dont do it justice

Send it on over. I'll tear it apart, clean/polish every single nook and cranny, replace anything that needs it, research and make upgrades where desired or necessary for fit and aesthetic, rebuild it, test ride it for short while , photograph and return it. All for the only the hard costs.

Seriously. I do this for fun and that Falcon is sweet.

Only caveat is I can't promise how long it will take.

I finished this one this morning: a 1978 Raleigh Competition GS. Campy Gran Sport brakes, Campy NR mechs, TA 3-pin crankset, Rigida 700c rims on DuraAce hubs, Panaracer Pasela tires, Brooks B17 saddle, Nitto Technomic stem, Belleri bars, and Tektro R200 levers. I might actually make it a 650B bike to smooth out the ride, but it'll do for now.

this is an early to mid 80's Japanese made Piaggio/Bianchi Sport SS I picked up as a rolling frame. It originally had 27" wheels on it but I put a set of 700's on it as well as a full Shimano 600 group I had sitting around. The front sidepulls dont have enough reach so I'm looking for some long reach vintage ultegra/600 ones. I still need to run the cables and do some more odds and ends.

It's built up mainly from spare parts I had sitting around.

By the way, this is the first time I've ever installed a new chain. Does it look ok? I wasnt sure if I needed to remove a few links or not.

Looks like it could stand to have a few links removed...

Here's my latest Colnago. A Master Piu with Campy of course. C-Record cranks and brakes, Super Record gears and seatpost. Eventually it will be fully C-Record.

It'll now join my other Colnagos:

Love the brown, Sixty Fiver. I think that bike would look great even with neon pink tape.
