Thanks! I was having trouble getting the code on the iPad. I got frustrated and went to bed.

"Super Metallic Bronze" as as close to brown as I can get at the moment. I'm sure some may be tired of seeing this bike, but I'm not!

At this point, technically a project, rather than a bike - and not exactly high on the food chain, but... it is a pretty March color (and yes, slightly tweaked, but the consensus is safe). picked up a couple years back from randyjawa.

Very much looking forward to seeing this one built up. Be sure to post it for us.

This one needs new wheels, as the originals have crudtastic, rusty steel rims. My wife wants a "pretty" bike, and I couldn't put her on nasty old steel rims. (long way of saying this one may take a while )

Thanks, Tom.

About all I'll need besides the usual consumables and the new rims and spokes I'll be using are brake calipers with the proper reach (which I'm unsure of atm), and top tube cable clips. I don't want to hijack this wonderful thread any further, so I'll entertain any further conversation in e-mail, PMs or another thread.

I was going to hold out for champagne bike month, but since tomorrow is my wedding anniversary I guess now is as good a time as any.

It will probably have to wait a bit. Winter came pretty hard here in the past month with an otherwise mild year.

It's a beautiful place to ride in the summer, though. Dense cities mean that the countryside is usually just a few minutes' ride from the centers, and even smaller towns are full of practical cyclists, even in the winter.
