Some of you may have seen this 531-frame Dawes Ranger.
But here's a bike I am currently building into a comfy 650b Tourer:

I Miss my '82 Fuji Team
It was a fine riding bike. I should have kept it.

Fuji Gran Tourer on a commute last year. Sold a couple months after this was taken.

Not sure what colour to call my latest 1973 Favorit project. It appears to be a goldy yellow over silver undercoat. I've been unsuccessful finding or making a touch up. I'm calling it "metallic mustard" , available only in the Czech Republic.

Just remembered! Another brown bike in the que for some love, a 1973 CCM Elite Mixte. Looks similar to the Raleigh "root beer".

I picked up this beautiful 1984 Sekai 5000 Superbe in the summer and still have to put new bar tape on it and it needs a tune up and new tires

I personally love the "colour of the month" posts! All kinds of opportunity to simply view bikes, all kinds and colours of bikes, without worrying about their components or heritage. Bravo Tom! Shown is a 1973 Raleigh Sprite 5speed in the root beer colour that came to me with great rear carrier that could have carried lots of beers..

What about proto-brown/gold bikes?
1979-ish (1978-1980 per geometry and frame outfitting--came only as a frameset to me recently) Trek 510 in 25.5" in their rare (and beautiful) Chestnut color. (Mostly) secret/new build (!!). Slowly gathering parts. Frame has been cleaned, compounded, and waxed. It's a stunner already, and will be even more so in the sun!
Just some borrowed wheels with (my) tan wall Vittoria 25mm tires. Surprised at how amazing this looks! (polished silver rims were/are the primary consideration, though maybe not anymore?)

Post-wax, with newly-added New Superbe Pro "piggyback" DT shifters. Avocet headset in the background (never knew they existed).

I posted this before in 2018 but this was my 1972 Italvega Super Speciale as ridden at Eroica California 2018 and shown here in October 2019 in Signal Hill, CA. Changed out the gearing, added a long cage to the Campagnolo Nuovo Record rear derailleur.

A couple of rebranded Viner frames.
A Bontekoe-branded Viner. Bontekoe is a famous shop in The Hague, founded in the early 1920's by track racer and local hero Gerrit Bontekoe, and currently operated by two of his grandsons. I spoke to them about the bike and they confirmed it was a Viner and one of theirs.

A Benotto-branded Viner. I have no idea why or how this came to be. But this one is my size, so I am happy with it. Still need to get it back on the road, though.

Killer Golden Mercian Tandem & Funky Follis
I didn't have time to take nicer photos to highlight the gold Mercian and brown Follis. The Mercian is stunning and the gold paint suits it surprisingly well in the flesh... the Follis perhaps not so much in the brown(s). I've seen cleaner versions that look spectacular and they also did a reverse of this color scheme with the lugs light and the tubes dark.

I honestly cannot figure out why these threads produce some of the best bike pictures. That Mercian tandem is really special.
