They did make them in '81. (just saying).

I looked a little closer at the serial#it could be beN151479 it even sounds better

Well this bike is a puzzle I can't locate original owner but I've got a little help from yall I've looked closer to serial # Its N151479 I hope someone can help me with the year and information on the bike,Thanks rdy3gdyr

This format of serial number is consistent with some TI Raleigh USA bicycles from the early 1980s. IF so, this is a Japanese serial number, not Nottingham England. The first digit "1" is for the year 1981, and the letter "B" is for February. The date of frame manufacture. |
