Western Flyer English lightweight

As a kid I always wanted an ( as we always called them )" English Racer"
( Western Flyer ) Finally in my old age I got one , but needs a few repairs.
could someone please tell me what real brand, and approx. date bike I have ?
Sturmey Archer hub has 56 11 on it , frame below seat has # 7889 WA
crank pulley has words CROWN.
And where can I find original decals ? Thanks , Bob

I am new at this too and I recently bought a Western Flyer. Mine was built by Raleigh like so many other brands at that time. My hub is dated July 62 or, 62 7 as it looks on the hub. There was a girls version posted a few weeks back in the thread "For the Love of English Three Speeds" Lots of good information there....check it out and congrats on your dream bike!

The OP's rear hub was manufactured in November 1956,so the bicycle should be a 1957 model. As to the manufacturer, Western Flyer contracted to various sources, including Norman, Hercules and Raleigh. Pending pictures, the serial number format and location has me leaning towards Norman.
