Went to buy vintage and ended up buying modern
Spotted a horrible ad for a “bike” for $80, went to pick it up but it was sold. Lady told me she had a Carbondale for sale, not really interested but after I checked it out and heard the price I bought it. Not sure of it’s future, parts would look great on my Ironman.

Nice "carbondale" -- lol
Square taper crank, silver polished components and what i assume is a 10 speed drivetrain, not 11.
Some would say those items alone almost make that bike C&V too

The Merlin looks brand new, but I’m not big on compact frames.

Give that Merlin a good trial before you decide. It looks like it might offer a great ride. But give it a proper saddle.

I'd happily take you up on that Merlin if you decide to pass it along. Looks like it could be my size.

Must be tough getting snaked on the Moto to end up with a titanium ride. Hard times.

The one time I was there I was shocked by the sheer amount of weed. Everywhere.

Now I have to get it from Florida to Indiana in an already packed truck without scratching it.
