Which Bike Should I Keep?

So I have too many bikes and need to move. I have two bikes which need work and I wanna keep one of them...could an expert help me decide. One is a Univega Gran Turismo 15 speed which needs a cleaning, new cables and a new wheel. The other is a Murray Phoenix 10 speed which also needs a cleaning and new cables. I'd say both need equal amount of work (one does need a new wheel but that won't be too difficult). Of these two bikes, which is the superlative ride? If you were me, which we would you keep? Thank you all in advance.

I see you joined four years ago and if you do not know the difference in those the bikes then my telling you to get rid of the Murray will make no sense to you. Just do a simple search on here about each bike.

Unfortunately my cycling enthusiasm had to be downplayed by a work accident but i am pedaling again! yea, i felt the murray was lower grade than a schwinn varsity of the period. univega is the keeper by far. thanks ed!

Definitely keep the Univega. By far, it is a better bike.

OP, get rid of the Murray. That Univega is a real sweet bike. The Murray...not so much. Post pics of the Univega!

If the bike needs a new rear wheel and it is 15 speed, it is likely 120 mm in the rear. Those are hard to source. The rear triangle can be spread to 126 and that will make it easier to find a wheel. thanks all. yea. univega was my gut instinct but maybe there was something i didn't know about the murray. i need a front wheel for the univega and a LBS proprietor said he had a matching wheel to the bike. ima hit him up on monday. i really do appreciate the kind and encouraging responses.

for sure the univega unless its a 23", then just send it to me.
