Schwinn Chicago 12 speed

I am interested in buying an old Schwinn 12 speed road bike. The shifters are on the down tube. What’s interesting is the tri-color paint scheme. Red up around the head tube, white in the middle, and green near the end of the stays. The Schwinn decals are there and seem original. Is this an original Schwinn paint job?
