Northeast heat wave

Saw the forecast and went to the cottage and spent the weekend in the lake. I'll pull the bikes out either just as the sun comes up this week or later this weekend when the weather cools off a bit.

Saw a few lunatics on the road in the 45C (113F) heat this weekend. No thanks. Any of you brave the heat?

45C north of the border? That's India or American desert sort of temperature.

Not me. I dont mind the heat but the humidity is the deal breaker. Spent one of the hot days riding a tractor and haying.

I try to get out early on my rides, but the humidity is still horrible.

I rode about 32 miles today to pick up my CSA share and then back home. I waited until late afternoon, but it was still in the 90s and humid. I was a puddle by the time I got home. Tomorrow I'll head out around 7 with a friend for a few hours of riding.
