Today I finally join the Cannondale SR900 club
Last week i came across this Cannondale on FB marketplace and it was missing the front wheel.
which wasn’t a big deal and I could always located one on eBay. I guess it was a SR 900 by looking at the pictures and all the post said was vintage racing bike.
Long store short went I got there today to pick it up, I ask her the full story on where the came from it was her dad. The dad bought the bike in 1984 new and did tons of races. It a only one owner bike till now. The asking price was $10, so I double down on it to hold the bike for me to pick up today. Did a little bit of cleaning on it. It will need a new chain later.The top cable guild is metal,unlike my 1985 Sr 800 which has plastic one.

C'dales always throw me due to the fat tubes. If that were a steel frame I'd think 54/56cm. That's 58/60?

If that bike was a smaller frame I would tell you how ugly and despicable it is, and insist you send it to me before your friends see it and you are embarrassed.
